Technical Support Analyst

Position Summary

The position requires installation and support of technology services and products. Duties include but are not limited to the following and Kinetix Management Team may assign additional tasks.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Personal computers utilizing various Windows operating systems and software
  • Access Points, Switches, Firewalls and other miscellaneous devices
  • Various PC applications such as MS Office, Email Clients, web browsers, productivity apps used by clients
  • Printers, Scanners, USB and miscellaneous Ethernet devices
  • Cabling CAT drops, racks, shelving, antennas, etc. as required
  • DVRs, Cameras, Video Storage Devices
  • Managing customer expectations and needs
  • Provide documentation on services rendered to both customer and Kinetix
  • Perform overall customer satisfaction with regard to company policy
  • Ability to stay current with technology trends

Including above referenced activities, additional assigned tasks to be performed at customer site and from the Kinetix NOC.

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

  • Proficient with Windows 7 and newer versions, Internet Explorer, Outlook Clients
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS; DNS, Web and Mail server functionality
  • Working knowledge of anti-virus, firewall technologies and other internet-related software
  • Networking including knowledge of IP, cabling, and wireless network setup

Company Requirements

  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Proof of US Citizenship
  • No felony arrests
  • Dress and appearance should be business casual and grooming according to Kinetix Handbook and position
