Alex Winter Fête

This community based winter festival is a tremendous asset to our community. Alex Winter Fête allows us to promote a weekend long event in addition to the other great things that happen in our community over the holiday season. The Holiday Trail of Lights has also become a great promotion stream for Alex Winter Fête – with blog posts and media visits to talk about the festival. Alex Winter Fête capitalized on the 12 Nights of Christmas opening event and the already lit downtown area to create a winter wonderland – and does what Alexandria festivals do best – indie shopping, live music, fun activities for the whole family, and unique dining experiences.

Unlike its spring event, Alex River Fête, Alex Winter Fête offers multiple holiday-themed attractions, ice skating, multi-cultural food vendors, and much more. From ice slides to visits from Santa, Alex Winter Fête provides the Alexandria/Pineville a truly magical winter experience.
