Content Creator

Position Summary

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for planning, developing, and editing content for social media, websites, and blogs. The ideal candidate is a true digital content native with deep experience writing creative, engaging and targeted online content.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to present content in dynamic and compelling ways to maximize engagement and consumption by the target audience
  • Write content for many different audiences for several industries (including but not limited to healthcare, law firms, restaurants, etc)
  • Coordinate day-to-day digital marketing activities (Social Media, Digital Advertising, Email Marketing, etc.)
  • Conduct research to determine the best strategies for reaching the client’s target audience
  • Support the development of search engine optimization strategy and implement tactics to increase website page rankings and leading search engines
  • Keep pace with social media and digital marketing trends and developments
  • Works within a team environment to address the creative, strategy, and insight needs of a project
  • Works with Open Source platforms including WordPress, Drupal, and trending social media
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and commitment to the organization, represent Kinetix in a professional manner
  • Act as a team player/self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks, work independently and drive projects to completion

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications-related field -Google Analytics Certification (To complete within 30 days of start date)
  • Google Ads Certification (To complete within 30 days of the start date)
  • Other certifications as needed
  • Understanding of website design, website redesign, website hosting services, and SEO services
  • Understanding of technology in the business environment
  • Proficient with Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Social Media Platforms
  • Proven self-starter and success record

  • Dress and appearance should be business casual and grooming according to Kinetix Handbook and position
